  22. Little birds tell me they've ported it already, but haven't
  23. made plans to sell it yet.

  25. And why couldn't SGI produce machines based on non-MIPS chips?
  26. SGI's real selling point has been fast processors, fast bus,
  27. fast graphics accelleration...  and there are plenty of
  28. non-MIPS alternatives to these today.

  30. My guess is at NAB, we'll see 3D Studio NT on display, running
  31. multithreaded on a six-Pentium Intergraph PC and an Alpha, 
  32. along with Microsoft showing off Micro-Softimage on NT, and
  33. SGI won't have anything to show as a result of their proposed
  34. merger.
